A long-standing company has moved into new premises just one month after a fire destroyed its previous unit in Burnham.

A business which was completely destroyed in devastating fire in Burnham has thanked the community for helping them ‘bounce back.’

The fire, which broke out in a neighbouring unit at Dammerwick Farm, on January 24, caused significant damage to multiple businesses, leaving owners facing an uncertain future.

Fire crews from across Essex battled the blaze for almost 24 hours, working tirelessly to bring the situation under control.

Residents were urged to keep doors and windows shut due to the large amounts of smoke pouring from the scene.

Among the worst-hit businesses was Impamark Prestige Branded Merchandise, an award-winning, family-run company that has been supplying branded merchandise for 55 years.

Despite losing its offices and premises, the company has started to bounce back.

Managing director Nicky Crisp expressed her deep gratitude to the emergency services.

She said: “We are deeply thankful to the fire crews who worked tirelessly to contain the blaze. Their dedication and bravery were extraordinary.

“We’re truly touched by the incredible support we’ve received from our customers, within our industry, and the Burnham community. It’s been such an uplifting experience to see everyone come together during this time.

“I’m happy to share that we’ve had no downtime, and business has continued smoothly, all thanks to our dedicated team who’ve been working from a temporary office.

“We’re fully operational and remain focused on delivering the high-quality service you’ve come to expect from Impamark.

“On top of that, we’ve secured our new premises and plan to be fully moved in during the first week of March.”

Other businesses affected by the fire are facing an uphill battle but Burnham resident Joeanne Cottrill has stepped in to help.

Joeanne has launched a fundraiser to provide much-needed support to those impacted.

They said: “These are good, honest people who are now starting 2025 with no income. Given the current economic climate, we want to ease their pain and help them rebuild.”

So far, the fundraiser has raised £380 of its £1,400 target.

To showcase these incredible achievements, the BPMA stand will feature the Platinum award-winning products at Merchandise World this January, providing attendees with a closer look at the cutting-edge products that stood out.
