David started Impamark in 1969 in North West London

The company began originally as a manufacturer of small leather goods, but when it moved to Burnham in 1975 it advanced into screen printing of garments, stickers, engraved metal and crystal products, and then printed ceramics and glassware. Impamark now operates as a business gift distributor from offices at Dammerwick Farm in Burnham on Crouch

In 2015 Impamark celebrated 40 years based in Burnham on Crouch, and has had many successes including supplying souvenirs for the Royal Wedding in 1981 and commemorative gifts to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012

David was an inspirational and hard working man who was devoted throughout his life to the promotional merchandise industry. It is due to his tireless work with the armed forces that Impamark was granted an official licence in 2009 to supply the MOD & Armed Forces

David and his wife Anne retired from the business in June 2006, and their daughter Nicky has been running it since

In his private life David was a committed Rotarian and Freemason and worked throughout his life raising money for many charitable causes

A service of thanksgiving will be held on Tuesday 9th February at the URC Church in Burnham on Crouch at 12.30 p.m.
