Factories in China will be closed for approximately 2-4 weeks for Chinese New Year (CNY) celebrations which will cause delays in lead times and quotations. Different factories have different lead times and closures.

Last shipping dates to UK range from mid to 23rd January and most factories are closing from 19th January and returning around 5th February. So first despatch dates AFTER CNY will be around 20th February

Items most affected are:

  • Enamel products inc trolley keyrings
  • Lanyards
  • Silicon wristbands
  • USB’s
  • Powerbanks
  • Bespoke products

We can of course advise and quote specific lead times as required. As a rule of thumb, we would recommend all Far Eastern orders are placed before 21st December allowing 48 hours for artwork approvals prior to us finishing for the Christmas break, enabling delivery prior to CNY

Carol Kean Retiring May 2016

Carol Kean Retiring May 2016

It is with great sadness that we are announcing the retirement of our Sales Office Manager, Carol Kean, at the end of this month.

Carol has been with Impamark for over 15 years and is an extremely well known face to many, and a friendly voice on the phone.

Carol has been there throughout the many changes at Impamark, and also through the transition when Nicky Crisp took over the reigns of her family business on her parent’s retirement in 2006.

Carol has had a particular involvement with the armed forces  – an important client for Impamark. The MoD has always played a very important role within Impamark’s client base,  but in 2011 this was formalised when Impamark was granted an official licence to supply H M Forces.

During Carol’s time with Impamark she has seen the company become computerised and lost her typewriter, a CRM system is now an essential part of daily working life, electronic invoicing, artwork changing from letraset to electronic, the fax machine almost extinct, and most importantly the business changing from manufacturing to distribution.

Impamark employed Julie Barwick full time in November last year and she, along with the rest of the strong Impamark team will be managing Carol’s clients going forward.

We are going to miss her enormously and she will be impossible to replace, but we all wish both a fantastic employee and loyal friend the very best of luck for the future.

IMPAMARK MARKS QUEEN’S 90TH BIRTHDAY WITH COMMEMORATIVE COINS

Having celebrated 40 years based in Burnham in September 2015, Impamark is very proud in 2016 to have been chosen to supply many councils across the UK with souvenir coins to commemorate the Queen’s 90th Birthday this month.

Impamark supplied commemorative souvenirs for the Royal Wedding in 1981 which included personalised mugs and branded T Towels, and then Jubilee Coins to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012, and again this year is no exception.

Impamark have supplied national charities with badges and souvenirs, and in addition commemorative coins to various Councils including Hampshire Registration Service, Bracknell Forest Council, London Borough of Bexley and Burnham Town Council.

Nicky Crisp, Managing Director of Impamark said “We had to liaise with the Lord Chamberlain’s Office at Buckingham Palace to ensure that we were advising our clients correctly and within the boundaries of copyright guidelines, as unlike the Diamond Jubilee there is no specific logo created for this occasion. As we are officially licensed suppliers to the Armed Forces, we are fully versed with all the issues surrounding crown copyright”.

The coins will be given to pupils at various schools, visiting dignitaries and new British Citizens.

“Once again it has been a wonderful opportunity for Impamark to be part of such an auspicious occasion and we consider it an honour to be able to supply people with their celebratory merchandise”.
