On August 15th, Impamark proudly celebrated its 55th anniversary with a memorable party held at their offices in Dammerwick Farm, Burnham on Crouch. The event gathered around 40 guests, including local businesses, Burnham on Crouch Town Council Mayor Fiona Clegg, friends, family, and former Impamark employees, to celebrate a significant milestone in the company’s illustrious history of providing prestigious branded merchandise across a variety of industry sectors.
The celebration was a fantastic opportunity for networking and connection among local business leaders and partners. Guests enjoyed a delightful afternoon filled with engaging conversations, refreshments, and the chance to reflect on Impamark’s journey over the past 55 years.
A highlight of the event was a special raffle held in aid of Farleigh Hospice, a remarkable non-profit organisation dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses. This cause is particularly meaningful to Director Nicky Crisp, as they supported Nicky’s family during their time of need with the care of her father, David Thurgood, the founder of Impamark, who sadly passed away in 2016.
The event featured guest speaker, Grant Maton from Essex Wildlife Trust, who shared inspiring insights on the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices, which resonates with Impamark’s vision of promoting sustainable branded merchandise, further underscoring the company’s dedication to social responsibility.
In addition, Nicky’s mother, Anne Thurgood, who became a part of Impamark in 1973 and continued to serve until her retirement in 2006, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her daughter and the dedicated employees of Impamark for their unwavering loyalty and commitment to the company. She raised a toast in celebration of Nicky’s remarkable success and enduring leadership as Managing Director.
Nicky Crisp comments “We are incredibly grateful to all our guests for joining us to celebrate this significant milestone. It’s a testament to the strong relationships we’ve built over the years and our commitment to supporting our community. We look forward to the next chapter of our journey and continuing to provide top-quality service to our clients.”
As Impamark looks forward to the future, the company remains focused on its mission to provide innovative promotional products, whilst promoting sustainability and transparency in its operations.
